With enough jib shots in the can, the Pirates decided it was time to score pow. Europe was dry; Japan was looking good. Despite mixed conditions they got some solid shots, and then found themselves in the middle of one of the worst natural disasters in recent memory.

While news about Japan are missing out in mass media by now this Pirate Log is reminding you of what happened last March. It was not an easy situation for our crew to cope with this catastrophe but it is not even coming close to what our friends and their families are still facing in Japan.

Pirates Markku Koski, Teo Konttinen & Fredu Sirvio Hit Japan

The latest Pirate Log episode is live and direct, and features Finnish Pirates Markku Koski, Teo Konttinen and Fredu Sirvio hitting up the Japanese spot of Asahidake for some well-derserved face shots while filming for Bottom Line.

These Finnish boys had ridden rails together many times before, but this was the first time they’d got to do a powder trip together. Despite taking a couple days to get their pow legs back and some mixed conditions, the result was goodtimes all round.

Danny Larsen and Björn Hartweger hook up with Hans Ahlund in his home town of Umeå in this Pirate Log. Hans knows every last spot and so even though their buddy lost the tip of his finger, the trip was a big success…

Yeah, if you ever lose any body part you’d want Hans Ahlund around. His quick-thinking saved their buddy Lil’Eric from having a shorter-than-usual finger for the rest of his days. Gore aside, there’s some killer jibbing in this latest Pirate Log from the shooting of Bottom Line…

The Pirates return with another season of their behind-the-scenes webisodes from their latest movie, Bottom Line, and kick off with this epic installment of the goodness that went down when Kalle Ohlson, Chris Sörman and Hans Ahlund spent 3 weeks slaying urban jibs in Sweden. This is really good.
