Although the snow is slow but surely bowing out of the European mountains, Planet Sports are still disco dancing with joy at being able to break this news… they’ve managed to secure the services of Eero Ettala to reinforce the already banging Planet Sports snowboard team from here on in.

Whether it’s rails, kickers, park or backcountry, this guy from Helsinki ranks amongst the best on the planet and bags titles and awards like regular dudes collect parking tickets: 1st X-Games Slopestyle 2010, 1st Toyota Big Air 2009, 1st Freestyle.ch 2006, Transworld Best Video Part of the Year 2005 & 2006 or Transworld Best Jibber of the year 2006… to name but a few.

His legendary video part in Mack Dawg’s Follow Me Around is still viewed as one of the best ever, and we’re already counting the days until next winter when we can check out more of Eero’s epic riding.

Barely eighteen years old, Ethan is not only the newest, but also the youngest team member at PLANET SPORTS. However, this half American born in a small town next to Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a sly old dog: he is not only regarded as the German up-and-coming young new talent at halfpipe riding, but he already has pulled off a whole bunch of shots with Isenseven and Forum as well, not to mention being part of Team Onboard‘s winning crew at the Oakley Jib-Vid.
