Snow was generally in short supply last year, except for a handful of places like Whistler. When it doesn’t stop snowing for weeks at a time, Jussi Oksanen, John Jackson, Mikkel Bang, Mikey Rencz, Mark Sollors and Jeremy Jones had to stick to the trees because the avalanche danger and visibilty in the high alpine was so bad. What resulted was Part 1 of the deepest, most technical, and easily envied footage from last year. Even with just one watch, these images will replay in your mind over and over, so…sorry.

While it’s true that the riding in this powder-laced edit from Steven’s Pass is nothing exceptional, one thing is abundantly clear. THIS. LOOKS. SO. FUN. We literally cannot wait to ride some tit-deep white love after watching this. Roll on winter.

On August 10th 2012, Contour gave Andrew Burns (SGT Argentina Head Coach) a Contour camera and asked him to film a mellow in-bounds lap at Cerro Catedral. Burnsy, like all the coaches at SGT, knows the mountain as well as the legs on the hot girl in french class, he immediately went to one of his many secret stashes and pointed his fancy new Capita board towards the SGT lodge and arrived at the editing suite with this gem.
