Smith have been pumping out their Prospecting Idaho web series for a couple of seasons now, but in case you’re out the loop the skinny is thus: they’ve got a secret R&D powder paradise nestled somewhere in Idaho where, throughout the winter, their team of pros visit and ‘assist with product development’. This is well worth 5 mins 50 seconds of your time. Tim Humphreys spent 3 weeks or so at Smith’s ultra exclusive Idaho backcountry paradise and put down the hammers. Shayne Pospisil joined him and was distracted by a remote controlled helicopter. Snowboarding these days, eh?

Tim Humphreys camps out at the zone for 20 days and builds a reserve of banger shots. Joined by Shayne Pospisil, Jeremy Black and Spencer Cordovano the team sessions the triple line jump with the mini-heli closing in.
