It’s New Year’s Eve, you’re getting ready to party, so enjoy those pre-bar pints while watching what in our considered opinion was the second most awesome part posted online in the last calendar year. Take a bow, Scott Stevens. Get involved.

This dude’s shredding just touches our special place. What more can we say? While we might agree that much of Scott’s riding isn’t as balls-out gnarly as some in the lower-placed video parts, we decided to determine this Top 10 on pure stoke alone*. And when it comes to stoke, Stevens’ unique, Mullen-esque approach to snowboarding and the creativity it’s possible to achieve when strapped in was only two Fuck Yeah!s off the top spot.

Think Thank’s 2010 production Right Brain Left Brain was full of creative shred shit, such as this part by Dinosaurs Will Die co-founder and creative wizard Sean Genovese. Peep it!

Not much going on right now, so we thought we’d bring you Scott Stevens’ full part from Think Thank’s Right Brain, Left Brain. Because we can. And it is AWESOME!

If Rodney Mullen snowboarded, this is what we reckon it would look like. Scotty-boy has so much control over his shred spatula it’s unreal, and as you’ll see he’s not too shabby on his useless wooden toy either. This part made our day and is a welcome antidote to the avalanche of double triple corking überboarding doing the rounds right now. Thanks to Scott for being a beast, Think Thank for filming him (the teaser for their upcoming flick, Ransack Rebellion, is off the chain), and the Google machine for searching the internet for the clip.
