Last week’s kick-off to a new Roxy Refreshments season was all about Robin van Gyn, this week is all about Norwegian shreddess Kjersti Buaas.

A Season in the life of Kjersti Buaas! Kjersti is admired as one of the best all round snowboarders out there. She can shred the pipe, rip the park and kills it in the back-country. Most riders are happy to specialize in one area but not Kjersti — she pushes the limits in all areas and definitely has an ‘access all areas’ pass to show for it!

Meet our friend Ms. Superpark. She only comes around once a year, and you’re never really sure where she’s going to pop up, but she’s not to be missed. Snowboard girls travel the distance to hang with the Ms’s, partly because she attracts the paparazzi, but mostly because she’s so much fun. So if you’ve never been properly introduced, just watch this clip.

FRIDAY

The Pirates Gigi Rüf history continues. Shaun White qualifies first at the X Games superpipe qualifiers. The SIA tradeshow in Denver kicks off, and the Angry Snowboarder as well as Yobeat have recaps of day 1. Going Green is an upcoming flick from Minnesota. Thirtytwo drop their AM movie AMMO. Well, the Burton European Open went down in Laax/Switzerland, and Jamie Anderson, Roope Tonteri, Kelly Clark and Peetu Piiroinen won. TWSnow spends three minutes with Marie-France Roy.
