Okay, this could be the first time you’ve checked some of this kid’s abilities, but we’re pretty sure you’ll remember his name after you’ve seen this. Boris Mouton comes from France, he’s 15 years old, and rides already like a boss. It’s been a long time since we didn’t hear so much buzz around such a young French rider, and that should tell how impressive he was to all the guys watching him train on Saas-Fee glacier last summer. He does claim his doubles, but hey we’re guessing we would too – and we’re a long old way from grommethood. Boris rides for NDK, Vans, Billabong and Da Kine. Enjoy!

Looks like Saas Fee bro-cam edits are the new hype right now as Norwegian rookie Markus Olimstad chips in with a sick one that’s the third we’ve seen from that particular chunk of glacier in the last 24 hours. The kid’s got skills.

And if that’s not enough, Markus’s DC Norway TM Jonas Greve (the man who helped bring triple toedoeing Jørn Simen Aabøe to our attention if you remember) sent over an accompanying ‘Welcome’ edit of Markus where he shows more of his arsenal and even comes close to a back triple 14. Oof.

If this sounds familiar it might be due to yesterday’s clip of Sven Thorgren smashing Saas-Fee’s park. Well, here’s 19-year-old Norwegian Brage Richenberg giving the very same park a proper beating, too.

This Swedish kid blew minds last season on his way to winning the World Rookie Finals. He certainly has a bright future ahead of him judging by this bro-cam edit of him tearing the Saas Fee Park a new one…

Like many riders, Sven’s been using the pre-season as a time to get the legs back in stomping order and push his limits before the winter begins for real. In our opinion, those legs seem to work pretty well already – he puts down an array of tricks that not three years ago would have been legit for an established pro but now seems to be what these upcoming groms seem to think is what normal snowboarding is. Sven is a mere 17-years-old. Madness.

The Salomon and Bonfire teams bezzed over to Saas Fee a few weeks back to shoot for their new catalog. Check the ripping that went down from Jed Anderson, Bode Merrill, Jamie Nicholls, Louif Paradis and co. Funtimes.

Holy crap. Over 4 minutes of good shredding and not a single double cork. Jed Anderson can sure pull some neat rail stunts.

Our homies over at Planet Sports just fired us over this neat-o edit of Marko Grilc, DBK and Tim-Kevin Ravnjak knocking the back out of Saas Fee’s park. Amazing how cats can pull doubles off such little jumps these days…

In terms of pre-season warm-ups, here in Europe it seems to be all about Hintertux and Saas Fee right now. We’ve seen a fair few from both in recent weeks and now Planet Sports team riders David Bertschinger Karg, Grilo and Tim-Kevin weigh in with their edit. We’re nearly as good at aliteration as Ståle Sandbech is at spinning like a frickin’ hurricane. The kid’s got mad skills for sure, but perhaps the most impressive thing is that he still manages to keep such hyper-twirls stylish. Ståle’s big bro Frode, the guy whose photos you’ve been jaw dropping at for the last few years, sent over this short clip of him crushing pre-season Saas Fee. It made us go “Wow!” and we’re thinking it might have the same effect on you…

Elias Elhardt is still in Saas Fee in his latest webisode where he hooks up with Halldor Helgason, Nils Arvidsson and Alessandro Boyens to chat through who’ll bag the win at Freestyle.CH this weekend between more fun mini shred and booter action.

“I’d like someone who doesn’t usually land, like Nissa (Nils Arvidsson) or Halldor,” says Helgason filmer Johannes. We’d have to agree. I mean, Seb Toutant and Mark McMorris just stomp everything, so some dudes you’re more surprised for would be sweet. Will we see a triple?
