When you’ve got the expansive natural playground of the Zillertal on your doorstep, we’re guessing it’s hard to motivate yourselves to leave but the Ästhetiker crew got juiced with wanderlust and had CK and Simon Schweiger jet to Japan, while Wolle Nyvelt and Anne-Flore Marxer went north to AK and Mone Monsberger and young gun Georg Huber headed west to Chile. We’re all gearing up for winter here at Onboard, and it looks like our buddies at Ästhetiker are too. For the last few seasons they’ve been producing their own slick webisodes from the steeps of the Zillertal and beyond, and now they’ve given us a taste of what we can expect from this season’s shows with this here teaser. Consider us teased good and proper.

Last year they pitted old dogs like Steve Gruber and Chris Kröll against the fresh faced rookies like Werni Stock and Georg Huber which made for interesting viewing, so we’re eagerly awaiting what they come up with this year.

They’ve got eight shows in the works, set to drop weekly from Octotber 15, so come back then to check out their first installment.

“The Ästhetiker Crew hooked up with riders like Herby Thaler, Simon Schweiger, Werni Stock, Phips Gruber, Jocki Köffler, Anne Flore Marxer and many more to film for the upcoming Tell Ä Vision PodcÄsts. The Highlights of the season have definitely been Werni Stock hitting the monster kicker in Sölden, a lot of great sessions in the Ästhetiker Playground in Zell, Simon Schweiger and CK in Japan and Wolle Nyvelt surfing it up with his Äsmo Board! 8 Shows will come out soon, starting on the 15th Oct. Völkl Squad members Benny Mösl, Roger Schuler, Simon Schweiger, Michi Stanschitz and Chris Kröll jumped in the car and headed to Spain to get involved with the  pintxo, paella and big booters on offer.

The Völkl crew have been getting amongst Hokkaido’s deep powder.

Check out what they got up to, including visiting the weirdest-looking resort ever, eating octopus legs and plenty of face shots…

After a little pause, the Squad was pretty busy again, shooting in Austria, road tripping in Poland and ripping in Japan.

The first episodes shows the team riders at the eco-friendly product shooting in Austria, for which they all traveled by train to a secret spot near Hochkönig to enjoy some deep powder on their new 2010/11 boards.

Then the SQD team went on a road trip to Poland to shred some icy parks and jib some gnarly street rails around the Tatra mountains (soundtrack by Demograffics)

And last but definitely not least the Squad including CK Kroell, Keiji Okamoto, Simon Schweiger and youngster Benny Moesl went to Japan to check out the SBJ trade-show, the slope event and shred the Niigata mountains.
