The crew of Finnish badasses responsible for last year’s most excellent movie, Snake Bite, are back with the teaser for their new project, dubbed Golden Years. It looks hyper rad. Get the lowdown and check the teaser like right now!

KBR have in the space of a short few years gone from plucky upstarts churning out bro-cam edits to Euro movie crew heavyweights. Check their full movie from last year at the bottom of this post and you’ll see they mean business. For 2013 they’ve added a few more Finnish ninjas to the roster, switched up the format a little – they plan to release three ‘chapters’ followed up by an extended full movie this autumn – and by the look of the teaser Golden Years is going to be stoking the asses off street-focussed shredders, while even giving those with a penchant for pow a li’l something something too.

Finally! One of Europe’s finest, Pirate Movie Production, is back with their new 2012 snowboard film release, UNIQUE 8, and this is the first teaser.

This year, they cut down their roster of riders to eight people: Gigi Rüf, Marco Feichtner, Arthur Longo, Nicolas Müller, Kalle Ohlson, Teo Konttinen, Chris Sörman and Werni Stock. When we spoke to riders after last season, they all seemed to be pretty stoked on this clearer focus, and we think it shows in the teaser, too. PMP also switched from their beloved 16mm format to RED high definition digital cameras, but stayed true to their analog approach of titling.

We were sweltering in the office wanting to get down the river for a plunge, but after watching this teaser for a new Finnish crew’s movie we want to go riding again real bad. Watch this, it’s sick.

Being that our photo ed is from Finland, we thought he might be able to shed some light on the movie name. “I don’t know,” was his response. Great. Who are the guys who made it then? “I don’t know them!”

What we do know is it will feature the riding of these talented Finnish cats: Sebu Naumanen, Teo Konttinen, Jani Sorasalmi, Ville Uotila, Jeppe Rontti, Konna Tervonen, Joel Ahola, Juuso Laivisto, Nuutti Niemelä, Hans Kestilä and friends.

Not gonna lie, the footage of Heikki’s surgery made us gag on our coffee – get well soon bud! – but despite the man down Eero’s got quite the bench to call on: a quick shoutout and he, McMorris, Ladley and Teo are ready to rip the doors off the Northstar park.

Northstar teamrider Eero Ettala sat down with the Northstar park crew to design his own double-line feature last week, and then straps in for a session alongside friends Mark McMorris, Matt Ladley, and Teo Konttinen.
