You know the Absinthe crew spent the lions share of the end of last year touring Europe to premiere their latest movie, twe12ve. Bet you didn’t know they made a music video covering Supertramp’s Logical, did ya? This made us laugh.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen one of these music video edits, and they’ve still got legs. Check Brusti, Müller, Romain, Gigi, Prendi, Bourbouss… pretty much the whole Absinthe family are in this bad boy.

Though in Absinthe’s twe12ve Bode Merrill’s full part is a 2-tune bangfest – one backcountry, one urban – in the online world we’ve only been treated to the urban one. It’s so sick that even with the pow missing it still made Number 5 in our list of the best full parts posted in 2011. Check it.

We can tell you this for nothing: had Absinthe released Bode’s full full part, passing sailors would have blushed at the avalanche of Fuck Yeah!’s* spewing forth from the Onboard office. As it is, he ends up in 5th place in our considered evaluation of the best full parts posted online in 2011 which, really, deserves an award of its own. Heavy.

To celebrate the iTunes release of Absinthe Films‘ latest snowboard movie twe12ve they just dropped the first half of the gobsmacking Bode Merrill part from twe12ve. His part is pretty much the best you will see all year, combining urban trickery and gnarly backcountry action into an epic two-song part. Don’t miss out on the second half of his part, which will blow your mind. And the rest of the movie isn’t much worse either.

Abstinthe ‘twe12ve’ Tour – Lyon & Barcelona

The Absinthe bus rolls on through Europe with the boys showing off their latest banger to the frothing crowds of Lyone and Barcelona. It’s worth watching for some of the highlights from Sylvain’s part alone…

Cheap watches and penguin outfits are the perfect way to start Day 3. Stop 4 on the tour is Lyon with warm weather, girls in short skirts and Sylvain Bourbousson realising he might be turning into a Gypsy.

After Lyon comes the sunny scenes of Barcelona, a cab driver that needs a map and a packed out theatre. But it’s nothing you didn’t expect from the Absinthe guys!

As of today you can download your copy of Absinthe Films’ latest masterpiece, twe12ve, in banging HD from iTunes. At €9.99 for HD or €7.99 for standard def, it’s pretty much a no-brainer.

We’ve yet to run into someone who’s not been fully floored by twe12ve… More of a road trip flavour than previous Absinthe films, the riding is out of this world as you’d expect from the übertight crew of 12, plus we felt there was a little more of a light-hearted vibe and a little more interaction with the riders which worked to great effect.

Have a gander at the Zurich premiere edit below where you’ll see some of the bad boys in action on the hill as well as in the bar, and then check twe12ve on the iTunes store and bag your copy.

Absinthe’s latest movie is out and making waves in the murky pond of snowboarding. “The best Absinthe movie to date,” is what we’ve been hearing from people whose opinions matter. What do we think? Yeah, well, pretty much what he said.

After a long, long wait the Absinthe boys have finally dropped the teaser for their highly anticipated bangfest, twe12ve. Heavy.

Sure, it took a while to send itself deep into the guts of the internet, but Absinthe have finally unleashed the teaser for this season’s hammerfest, twe12ve. Looks like the crew sent it hard once again.

We’re gonna be getting all dizzy at the premiere tomorrow and, on the basis of this tickler it’ll be well worth the hangover.

As well as some fastforward action and a huge slam, what we learnt from watching this is that Mikey LeBlanc needs his own TV show while Nicolas Müller should not give up his day job just yet.
