The French “your most radical” snowboard crew Almo Films brings you their second Drôle de Vie episode. This time the tear things up in Quebec City and Montreal.

Let us explain the French snowboard scene for you. There’s a ton of riding talent, and some amazing parks, but since they’ve invented the word the scene is quite ‘cliquey’, and you don’t get to see much of it outside La Grande Nation. However, there is a bunch of riders, who can stand their ground on an international level. Apart from names like Victor De Le Rue, Arthur Longo, Mathieu Crepel, and Gerome Matthieu it is mostly Victor Daviet, who has been pushing the level of backcountry riding within and outside France.

Here’s Victor’s full part from the Rip Curl movie Alive & Kickin‘, taking him from British Columbia to the Alps and back.

The Harakiri dudes are back with a sick, slick, witty teaser for their upcoming movie, La Tournee du Patron. Have a look.

For those unfamiliar with la langue d’amour, the title roughly translates to ‘Owner’s Round’ or ‘On The House’, as in when the bar owner fronts the drinks. So there.

Rip Curl gives us all an early Xmas present: The Full Gum Movie. How considerate.

This early season is starting not too bad: our European mountains start to be covered with fresh snow, last week-end 2 of our riders made a 5*TTR podium in Stuttgart! (Elias Elhardt won and Victor De Le Rue got 2nd) and Lucile Lefèvre, our young Frenchie rider, won the Halfpipe World Cup in Ruka!!

But last season, there was no snow in Europe, and that was just a good reason for our riders to start to live the search and discover new spots. From Argentina to Japan, the only thing they had in mind was powder!!!

This movie deals with their moves all around the world, and we’re happy to share this epic snowboard adventure as a special Xmas present!!

Another installment of Rip Curl’s team flick, The Gum Movie, has dropped and sees Janne Lipsanen, Victor Daviet and Victor De Le Rue having a good time all the time in Japan. This made us want to go snowboarding real bad.

Looking for light powder, the search brought Rip Curl team riders to discover a new playground ! Some call it Land of the rising sun, some call it Sushi heaven or pillow paradise. Victor de le Rue, Victor Daviet and Janne Lipsanen called it a damn good trip!
