Check the teaser for the Russian Quiksilver team’s new project, What Is This? Not only does it feature big hitters like Viktor Temoryev, there’s even a cameo by Johan Olofsson. Johan, for god’s sake!

The first thing we though when this was fire over was “A centre for ants?!” Obscure Zoolander references aside, this looks like it’ll be a good un for sure.

“The Quiksilver international team vistied the Kitzsteinhorn from March 21st until 27th 2011 to shoot for different movie productions and their catalogue. Attending riders were Teo Konttinen, Markku Koski, Jan Necas, Viktor Temoryev, Freddie Austbo, Ville Paumola, Enzo Nilo and Ulrik Badertscher. Quik Team captain Gary Greenshields set down with Parkdesigner Stefan Plattner to create some Special Features and the outcome will be awesome. If you’ve ever wondered who the unsung heroes of snowboarding are, the park shapers are definitely up there. Check out what goes on backstage when the Quiksilver team are in town to shred the Kitzsteinhorn QPark. Super interesting, and some good shredding too…

Some of Quiksilver’s international A-Listers booked themselves in to the stellar Kitzsteinhorn park to shoot a bunch of stuff for next season. With the likes of Teo Konttinen, Markku Koski, Ulrik Badertscher, Viktor Temoryev, Fredrik Austbo and a swarm of filmers and photographers in tow, the shaping crew knew they needed to construct some legit features. Kitzsteinhorn Park Session iShredit

We were in Kitzsteinhorn’s kick-ass Central Park yesterday and once again filmed and edited a short movie on our trusty iPhone. Check out the action from Björn Hartweger, Steve Grumser and the Quik team…

Because, as you can see, the quality of such edits composed solely on the iPhone are pretty much on a par with The Art of Flight, we have dubbed out one-man telephonic filming & editing outfit Brain Fry Cinema. Check out the shredding that went down when we were shooting a Spotcheck for next season with Björn and Steve, and a li’l bit of radness from the swarm of Quiksilver riders who descended on the park for their own shoot once the light got proper porno. Ulrik Badertscher smashed the granny out the booter, Teo Konttinen did one of our favourite front 7s ever, and as for Viktor Temoryev on the hip… Jesus.
