You can’t win them all as evidence from Deja Vu Movie’s Frank April, LNP, Louif Paradis and Alex Cantin! Putting together a solid part for any snowboard movie requires throwing yourself off ledges, down rails and into uncertain success. These guys are true professionals and take the good with the bad continually getting back up and giving it another shot. If these slams are any indication of how hard the guys were pushing it out there we can’t wait to see the tricks they land! Bangers!

Louif Paradis, Will Lavigne, LNP, Nic Sauve, Ben Bilocq… these dudes and the rest of their Quebec crew blew the doors off when they came on the scene, and now they’re back under one movie banner and it’s looking AWESOME.

There’s little doubt that this crew of riders from Quebec had a massive impact on the evolution of urban shredding when they started getting attention in the mid-2000s. Now, after their career paths have taken them on many roads they’re back together shooting for a movie they call Deja Vu, and this third ‘prologue’ is part history of the riders, part documentary of their first few reunion sessions filming for the movie that’ll drop fall 2013 – and will make you shake.

The Mad Ones is a a web-based video project by Liam Gallagher. Inspired by the Beat Generation and specifically the writings of Jack Kerouac, The Mad Ones followed the freaks, all winter long. This is a movie about snowboarding and some Beatniks.

Though Will and his homies are currently busy grafting away for their new project, Deja Vu (click that link and check their teasers – that shit’s gonna pop), his footage from last season can now be peeped right here thanks to the dudes at Quiksilver. They say this: “Will Lavigne is one of the most underrated riders in snowboarding today. What is often times lost in the flurry of 270s and assaults on big kinks is that Will actually came up as a jumper and is no stranger to big park kickers or backcountry booters.” He’s bossing that shit, that’s for sure.

Quiksilver have done it again. Knowing we’re suckers for watching how shots go down, they’ve managed to subtly nudge us into posting one of their ads by taking us behind the scenes on the shoot that resulted in Will Lavingne’s ad. Nice job, dudes!

They’ve got form in this method of subterfuge; the Bryan Fox Behind the Ad was also super interesting and, again, we walked straight into their trap and posted that, too.

Wait wait, we’re not sensationalising anything, Quiksilver themselves call this short team video “a Montage full of hammers.”

It features their team riders Bryan Fox, Will Lavigne, Travis Rice, Danimals, Jake Olson-Elm, Johnny Brady, Alex Beebe, Ted Borland and Matt Belzile.

People Films went through a massive change compared to last winter. Gone are the days of JP Walker and his buddies. But this new crop doesn’t seem to be too bad, either!
