Freeride World Tour Expands to six stops in 2011
Just like everything grows with the years, in it’s 4th year the Freeride World Tour 2011 grows from four to six tour stops with new events in St. Moritz, Switzerland, and Fieberbrunn, Austria.
The 2011 tour for male riders will kick off mid-January at the mecca of freeriding, Chamonix-Mt-Blanc in France. The athletes will then travel the globe to five more destinations in Europe, Russia and North America. The female riders have their own tour schedule, competing at the Freeride World Qualifyer events. They will then join the men for the grande finale in Verbier, Switzerland, at the prestigious Nissan Xtreme by Swatch, celebrating its 16th edition.
