The last weekend of April the Scandalnavians crew teamed up in Åre, Sweden, for a session they won’t forget in the near future. One kid out of the crew went bigger then the others and his name is Sven Thorgren. You probably heard his name before since he has really made a name for himself the last few years and on this jump he learned a few new duobles and triples. No biggie!

Fire? A landing made of chunks of ice? Drop-in and kicker built of industrial containers? Booze? Some of the best Euro shreds sending it? It can only be the one and only AK Extreme in Akureyri, Iceland. Check the highlights of this year’s sketchfest…

You can’t win them all as evidence from Deja Vu Movie’s Frank April, LNP, Louif Paradis and Alex Cantin! Putting together a solid part for any snowboard movie requires throwing yourself off ledges, down rails and into uncertain success. These guys are true professionals and take the good with the bad continually getting back up and giving it another shot. If these slams are any indication of how hard the guys were pushing it out there we can’t wait to see the tricks they land! Bangers!

The event took place in Ounasvaara, Finland during April 2013. Finnish top riders were competing in banked slalom and pipe masters contest. It was good times and great parties with Lapland style for the whole weekend.

The final installment of Olliepop Films’ When in Whistler webisodes drops another cocktail of backcountry, urban and park shredding on our asses. 

Well, that’s a wrap! LAST BUT NOT LEAST is the final episode of our 2013 WHEN IN WHISTLER series presented by Boardworld. It’s been a great end to the season.

In this fourth and final episode, we join Geoff Brown and 3CS Comrade Gordon Emery in the backcountry once again. We hit urban locations with Geoff, 3CS Comrade Mat Galina, FYVE team rider Marc Triffitt, and welcomed Braden Dean and Spencer Kaleb to the crew.

To top it off we have the Fyve trio of Ryan Manning, Greg Murray and Marc Triffitt join David Kinskofer and Canadian jump slayer Charles Reid in the Whistler Blackcomb Terrain Parks for some of the best times we’ve ever had shooting sunny spring shred.
