It’s always easy to bag on people who are successful, and certainly Shaun certainly deserves props for his achievements in snowboarding (not to mention THE sweetest front 5 a halfpipe has ever seen in his victory lap in Torino). But when he’s on this kind of mainstream media blitz, getting fawning spots on that news station that’s better than Fox, cuddling up to Oprah and skipping out on competing at his own contest in China… Well, we’re just concerned that people might think that this is what snowboarding is ALL about. “It makes me feel sad,” is what our intern Joonas piped up with when watching this. YoBeat were more sad.
